Provides small group and individualized instruction to strengthen sentence structure, clarity, and elaboration
Uses conferencing to give targeted feedback and support growth in writing skills
Incorporates scaffolds such as graphic organizers and sentence frames to support diverse learners


Reading
Designs and implements structured, data-driven literacy instruction to support students in developing foundational reading skills, fluency, and comprehension. Instruction is tailored to meet diverse learner needs through a combination of whole-group, small-group, and individualized support.
Implements Wilson Reading to strengthen phonemic awareness, phonics, and decoding skills
Provides RTI small group instruction based on assessment data to target specific literacy needs
Conducts 1:1 conferencing to support reading comprehension, fluency, and strategy use
Uses differentiated instruction to support a range of learners in accessing grade-level texts


Science
Designs and implements science instruction that encourages inquiry, exploration, and hands-on learning while building students’ understanding of the natural world.
Uses hands-on activities and experiments to support student engagement and understanding
Encourages students to ask questions, make observations, and explore scientific concepts
Integrates models and visual supports to help students understand complex ideas
Connects science content to real-world experiences to make learning meaningful
Uses discussion and reflection to support student thinking and understanding


Math
Fostering critical thinking and problem-solving through Designs and implements math instruction that builds students’ conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence through differentiated and data-driven practices.
Provides small group instruction to support number sense, operations, and problem-solving skills
Uses hands-on activities, visual models, and manipulatives to support student understanding
Implements math stations and partner work to encourage engagement and collaboration
Supports students in developing fluency with operations and applying mathematical reasoning
Uses observations, student work, and exit tickets to guide instruction and reteach as needed
