My interests

About Me
When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and seeking new adventures through travel. Traveling is one of my greatest passions, and I have been fortunate to visit 16 countries. Experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, and learning about the world firsthand has helped shape the way I view learning and has strengthened my appreciation for diversity and inclusion.
I have always felt most at home in nature. Whether I am hiking, visiting a national park, walking along the beach, or simply spending time outside, I value the opportunity to slow down, explore, and connect with the world around me.
These experiences have shaped who I am both personally and professionally. They remind me to stay curious, embrace new perspectives, and build meaningful connections—qualities that I strive to bring into my classroom every day.

The Chorus of Westerly

Volunteer Work

I am also passionate about giving back. I enjoy volunteering whenever I can and have served as an election official during two presidential elections. Being involved in my community has shown me the importance of service, civic responsibility, and helping others.
Music has also been a significant part of my life. I was a member of the Chorus of Westerly for 16 years, where I developed lasting friendships and a deep appreciation for teamwork, dedication, and the arts. Today, I continue to stay involved by volunteering at concerts, camps, and community events. Music has taught me the importance of collaboration and the joy that comes from being part of a supportive community.
